Howgill Fells from Sedbergh [27th February] - The Howgills are Cumbria’s hidden gem and although not as high as their Lake District neighbours to the west, they have a character of their own with steeper valleys than the adjacent Yorkshire Dales. The suggested 13 mile circular walk from Sedbergh offers a classic day out, including visits to the summit of The Calf (2230ft) and Cautley Spout. For those not wishing to do the full route there are many lower level alternatives, including riverside walks along the Dales Way. Steve Walker will be driving the minibus and will be joined by both Tony Austin & Kishor Raichura who have made privileged bookings.

Humbleton Hill, Tom Tallon's Crag & Commonburn [30th January] - Tony Austin & Joe McDermott kindly used their cars in order to transport Kate Mouter, Anne Marie Forster, Ian Thomson, Christine Moran, John Tetlow & Rose Envy to Wooler where they met up with Ailie Langston, Linda Boakes, Russell Boakes, Anna Hope, Jon Robinson & Kishor Raichura.
